Education

I graduated from Colorado State University and earned my Master's degree from Regis University.

Experience

I taught school for 30 years beginning at a junior high school in Pueblo. Then I taught elementary school in Montrose for 28 years.  I did work on assessment for the school district for several years.  I stayed home when our children were young and have now been retired for several years.  I have attended church my entire life.  I was active in Methodist Youth Fellowship and the Wesley Foundation at Colorado State University.  Recently I have been a delegate to the Rocky Mountain Annual Conference and a member of the Staff Parish Relations Committee. I have served on several church committees over the years.

Dick and I have two children, David and Rebecca, and four grandchildren.

I read a lot -- I enjoy mysteries and factual adventure such as Into Thin Air

Proverbs 3:5,6 -- "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not onto your own understanding;  in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your path."
